Your IT Solution May NOT Work. Here's why.
Many IT companies think that "IT Solution" is "handing over a software application as requested."
What's wrong with that? Most of the time, the clients can't benefit from the software because:
* Only a few people in the organization can use it.
* Nobody knows who should be doing what with the application.
* Nobody in the organization knows how to handle any errors.
* They're dependant on the software companies on anything related to the application.
So the application just provides features, but NO benefit. While the real IT Solution has to be:
* Usable by every personnel in charge.
* Accompanied with a clear and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure.
* Also in forms of knowledge transfer, such as user training and manuals.
* Able to provide the clients a certain level of independence.
Only after that, you can truly benefit from the application features. Because software application is just an element (or a tool) of a comprehensive IT solution.
